Inkaterra Machupicchu Pueblo

The Inkaterra Asociacion was founded to conserve the environment, ecosystems, cultural, archaeological and natural resources and to maintain an ecological balance. It also works to support Peru’s cultural identity and sustainable development. Part of Inkaterra profits are invested in the association activities, such as: environmental education to local kids in Machu Picchu pueblo, research programs and management of an orchid garden in the hotel with over 300 species, as well as a rescue and preservation project of the Spectacled Bear, a highly threatened species.

The Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel offers also the “Tea Excursion” at the Tea House; which allows guests to learn about tea-crafting techniques and participate in its preparation process.

Set amid waterfalls and gardens at the foot of Machu Picchu, whitewashed casitas with eucalyptus beams are strewn along stone paths.

There are 372 varieties of orchids and 18 species of hummingbirds on the grounds, this accommodation includes several excursion possibilities such as bird-watching and orchid tours, as well as a twilight nature walk.

Each room features a terrace and plunge pool overlooks a lush garden with private entrance. Travelers register in the privacy of the Villa, and our extended VIP treatment includes round-the-clock butler service. Also each villa has an open fireplace, plus sitting and dining areas, the expansive marble bathrooms offer an indoor shower and tub.
