The Monasterio Hotel is one of most famous hotels in Cusco city. The main reason comes to being of the Orient-Express Collection, but the property really distinguished itself when it became the first to offer oxygen-enriched rooms to combat the altitude sickness.

Situated just a few blocks of the main plaza, its infrastructure was built in the 16th century as a monastery on Inca foundations. Much of its original architecture remains are intact, paying homage to its original seminarian occupants. In keeping with its intended purpose, its rooms and suites feature a mix of traditional and contemporary furnishings, with a great gallery of religious art gracing the walls.

Discover each room, hallway where every undiscovered nook seems to hold legendary secrets. Inside of its courtyard is situated the “Illariy” restaurant, adorned with original paintings of art here are served distinctive Peruvian and international cuisine. In the morning, meals are taken at “El Tupay” restaurant; there are also barmen at the Lobby bar where are created refreshing and delicious drinks with the shake of a wrist. The Monasterio provides an idyllic place to discover everything that the region has to offer.
