Tour Balance Payment

If you have an outstanding balance, it must be paid at least two days before your tour or trek. This allows us to finalize all reservations and guarantee your travel services.

Whenever possible, we recommend paying the remaining balance in cash during your pre-tour briefing. Payments can be made in US Dollars or Peruvian Soles. Several ATMs are conveniently located along Avenida El Sol in Cusco or Lima, where both currencies are available.

Alternatively, you may pay by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, PayPal, or debit card. Please note that online credit card and PayPal payments are subject to a 5% service fee. We are unable to accept personal or traveler’s checks.

Luggage Storage

If you are joining a multi-day tour or trek, Cusco Journeys offers complimentary luggage storage during your trip. You can arrange this service during your briefing or simply let us know in advance.

We recommend leaving large suitcases at your hotel whenever possible, as most hotels provide secure luggage storage free of charge. Please keep passports, money, electronics, and other valuables with you or store them in your hotel’s safety deposit box.

Hotel Pick-Up Information

Hotel pick-up is included for all tours and multi-day packages. Your exact pick-up time will be confirmed during your briefing or one day before your tour begins.

Traffic conditions and narrow streets in historic city centers may occasionally cause delays of 30 to 45 minutes. To ensure a smooth departure, we recommend choosing accommodations with convenient vehicle access whenever possible.

Group Tours and Private Services

Our tours are suitable for travelers of different ages and fitness levels. Depending on the itinerary, services may operate as small-group tours, private tours, or a combination of both, offering the best balance between comfort and flexibility.

If you are looking for a more personalized experience, we can customize your itinerary by upgrading hotels, extending your stay, adding destinations, or arranging fully private services throughout your journey.

Strikes and Travel Disruptions

Occasionally, strikes, protests, or unexpected events may affect transportation in Peru. Should this occur, our operations team will make every effort to adjust your itinerary while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Any necessary changes will be communicated promptly, and we will always work to minimize disruptions while ensuring you enjoy the best possible travel experience.

Personal Belongings

While traveling, please keep your personal belongings with you at all times. Before leaving hotels, vehicles, restaurants, or archaeological sites, double-check that you have all your valuables.

We recommend carrying passports, cash, electronics, and important documents in a secure daypack or money belt. Cusco Journeys cannot be held responsible for lost or unattended personal items.
